Many of you are familiar with ponds and water features. My little pond is only 4 feet wide by 8 feet long by 3 feet deep. This was my first effort and is a fantastic addition to our landscape. Ponds and water features don't have to be grand or expansive projects. I designed this one with a minimum of effort and money. The sound of running water draws a wide variety of birds and other wildlife. In one years time I have had Raccoons, Frogs, salamanders, Dragon flies and a wide variety of birds, including a heron who loves to eat the inexpensive gold fish I tossed in as an after thought. We entertain regularly and the sound of running water is welcomed by everyone particularly in the summer months when we spend a maximum of time outdoors enjoying the late sunsets and the sound of water falling...Increase your peace.
