A very different looking bamboo with small, oval shaped leaves and tiny, 1/8" diameter culms. With time it will make a good screen. Very cold hardy and it can tolerate acid soil under evergreen trees. Very exotic and groovy addition to any landscape. This variety does very well in a container.
